Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 8 item
  • whipping cream - 2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Velveeta cheese, cubed - 1 item
  • deep dish pie shells, unbaked - 2 item
  • cooked ham, sausage or fried bacon - 1 item

How to make quiche lorraine:

Sprinkle diced ham, sausage or crumbled bacon and cubed Velveeta in pie shell. Beat eggs in bowl; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture into pie shell. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300°. Bake about 30 minutes longer or until quiche tests done. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
