Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 8 item
- whipping cream - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Velveeta cheese, cubed - 1 item
- deep dish pie shells, unbaked - 2 item
- cooked ham, sausage or fried bacon - 1 item
How to make quiche lorraine:
Sprinkle diced ham, sausage or crumbled bacon and cubed Velveeta in pie shell. Beat eggs in bowl; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture into pie shell. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300°. Bake about 30 minutes longer or until quiche tests done. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Main dish, Savory pies.
