- cloves - 1 item
- allspice - 1 item
- apple cider - 2 c

How to make crock pot apple butter:
Wash, core and quarter apples, but do not peel. Combine apples and cider in lightly oiled crock pot or slow cooker. Cover, cook on high for about 3 hours until tender. Sieve apples. For each pint of sieved fruit, add 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. allspice, and 1/2 tsp. cloves. Stir often and well.
