Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- cooked, cubed potatoes - 4 c
How to make potato soup:
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove sauce from heat. (Add cheese or other flavorings at this point, if so desired.) Add onions and potatoes to sauce. Return to heat and cook until hot.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
