Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- water - 1 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- rib celery, chopped - 1 item
- potatoes, peeled and cubed - 6 item
- large carrot, chopped - 1 item
How to make potato soup:
Place vegetables in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Cover with broth and water to 1-inch over vegetables. Simmer 20 minutes or until tender. Do not drain.Meanwhile, in another pan, melt margarine; add flour. Blend. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. When white sauce has thickened, add to vegetable pot.
