Potato rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- all-purpose flour - 5 to
- salad oil - 2/3 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- mashed potatoes - 1 c
- lukewarm water - 1/2 c
How to make potato rolls:
Dissolve yeast in water. Mix oil, sugar, salt and potatoes together. Add milk warmed to room temperature. Add yeast and eggs. Gradually add flour, mixing well. Keeps in refrigerator 3 to 5 days. Roll into desired shape and brush with melted butter. Allow to rise 1 1/2 hours in warm place away from draft. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.To Freeze: Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Freeze when ready. Reheat for 4 to 5 minutes at 400°.
