Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- warm water - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Make dough as for biscuit dough. Roll thin like pie crust. Dot with butter. Cover with sugar. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Roll up as for jelly roll. Cut in 2-inch sections. Lay each section touching in casserole dish. Cover with milk. Sprinkle again with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 400° oven until brown and bubbly.
