Ingredients/Components
- warm mashed potatoes - 1/2 c
- warm water
- oleo - 1/2 c
- flour
- yeast - 2 pkg
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
How to make potato rolls:
Sprinkle yeast in water. Add sugar and salt. Let bubble. Add eggs and 3 cups flour. Mix at high speed with mixer. Add 2 cups more flour. Use wooden spoon to mix rest of flour. Let rise in icebox, covered, for 2 hours. Remove and punch down. This may be kept in icebox for 3 or 4 days. Just take out as much as you need. Shape into rolls and let rise for 2 hours.
