Ingredients/Components

  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • soft butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix - 1 pkg
  • warm not hot water - 1 c
  • 2-serving pouch instant potatoes - 1 item

How to make potato rolls:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast packet (from hot roll mix) with water. Add potato flakes, egg and soft butter. Gradually stir in flour mixture; blend well. Cover. Let rise in a warm place until light and doubled in size (about 45 minutes). Grease muffin cups. Shape dough into small balls; place in muffin cups. Let rise about 45 minutes or until light and doubled in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter if desired. Yield: 18 rolls.
