Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- oil
- soda - 5 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- boiling water - 2 c
- 2 oz - 1 lb
- box raisins - 1/2 item
- or more cinnamon - 1 tsp
How to make six week bran muffins:
Pour boiling water over cereal. Let stand. Mix with sugar, eggs and oil. Add alternately the buttermilk and dry ingredients. Add raisins. Store in refrigerator and spoon into muffin pan as you want them. Keeps for 6 weeks. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
