Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • cream of chicken soup - 1 can
  • onion, minced - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cornflakes, crushed - 2 c
  • frozen hash browns, thawed - 2 lb
  • cubed Velveeta Cheese - 2 c
  • Red and green pepper, minced optional - 1 item
  • cube margarine or butter, melted - 1 item

How to make potato casserole:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine first 7 ingredients in a 2 1/2 qt. greased 9 x 12 inch casserole. Mix crushed cornflakes and melted butter or margarine and spread on top of ingredients. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serves 8 to 10.
