- red beans - 1 lb
- ham hock - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- clove garlic - 1 item
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- small bunch parsley, chopped - 1 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- carrots - 2 item
- potatoes - 2 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
How to make portuguese sausage soup:
Chop all vegetables. Add water to beans to cover. Cook beans with ham hock until soft. Add chopped vegetables and sausage, cut in bite sizes. Boil 1/2 hour. Season to taste.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, Pork.
