Italian vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- diced onion - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- tomato sauce - 1 can
- shredded cabbage - 2 c
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- dried parsley - 1 Tbsp
- tomatoes - 1 can
- sweet basil - 1/2 tsp
- green beans - 1 c
- beef bouillon granules - 5 Tbsp
- small elbow macaroni - 1/2 c
- minced garlic to taste - 1 item
- red kidney beans, undrained - 1 can
How to make italian vegetable soup:
Brown beef in large heavy kettle. Drain. Add all ingredients except cabbage, beans and macaroni. Bring to boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients.
