Portuguese sausage soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- chicken broth - 6 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 1 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- red wine - 1/2 c
- noodles - 1/2 c
- stalks celery, sliced - 3 item
- tomato puree - 1 c
- bay leaves - 3 item
- thyme - 1/8 tsp
- cans stewed tomatoes - 2 item
- chopped Italian sausage - 1 c
How to make portuguese sausage soup:
Saute onion, celery and garlic in oil until transparent. Add tomatoes, tomato puree and sausage (chunks). Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove bay leaves and serve.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, Pork.
