Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1 c
- poppy seed - 4 Tbsp
- white or yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- liquid shortening - 1/2 c
- instant lemon or coconut cream pudding mix 3 3/4 oz - 1 pkg
How to make poppy seed cake:
Mix together dry cake and pudding mixes with poppy seed; add water and oil. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour batter into well-greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Allow cake to cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing.
