  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • water
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • popped corn - 5 qt
  • maple flavor syrup - 1/2 c

How to make popcorn balls:

Keep popcorn hot and crisp in slow oven. Combine sugar, water, syrup, vinegar and vanilla. Cook to hard-ball stage (250°). Pour slowly over popcorn. Mix well to coat every kernel. Use butter on hands to press into balls. Makes about 20 balls.
