Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- molasses - 1 c
- oleo - 1 Tbsp
- popcorn - 1/2 lb
How to make popcorn balls:
Pop the corn. Combine molasses, sugar, vinegar and oleo in saucepan and cook to soft-ball stage. Remove from heat. Add soda; stir to mix thoroughly. Pour over popped corn, mixing well. Shape into balls with greased hands. Makes about 24 popcorn balls.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
