Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- vinegar - 2 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- sliced onion - 2 c
- sliced squash - 8 c
- green bell pepper, cut up - 1 c
How to make pickled squash:
Combine squash, onion and pepper with salt. Let stand 1 hour. Combine sugar, vinegar and celery seed; bring to boil. Add squash, onion and green pepper; boil 3 minutes. Pack in jars and seal.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Squash.
