Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- hard-boiled eggs - 2 doz
- cans red beets - 2 item
How to make pickled red beet eggs:
Combine all ingredients, except eggs; heat to boiling. Cool. Place hard-boiled eggs into a large gallon glass jar. Pour red beets and brine over eggs. Allow to sit in refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving with salt and pepper.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
