Pickled green beans
Ingredients/Components
- cup water - 1/4 item
- cups sugar - 2 item
- small onion chopped - 1 item
- cans whole green beans - 3 item
- 3/4 cups vinegar - 1 item
How to make pickled green beans:
Cut 3 lbs of fish to bite sized chunks. (Carp)Mix 3/4 cup canning salt to white vinegar. (Enough to cover fish)
Store 5 days in the refrigerator, stirring each day.
After 5 days drain, wash, and soak over night in clean water.
Mix and bring to a boil 3/4 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of dry wine, 3/4 cup water, hot peppers (optional).
Slice onion. Loosely pack fish and onion in jars.
Add 1 1/3 cups of white vinegar to pickling liquid. Poor over fish in jars. Refrigerate.
Let stand 2 days before eating.
