Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- large eggs - 2 item
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- cup brown sugar - 1/2 item
- cup water - 2/3 item
- cup chopped nuts - 1 item
- tsp vanilla - 1 item
- cup raisins - 1 item
- tsp cinnamon - 1 item
- cups sugar - 2 item
- tsp baking soda - 1/2 item
- 1/2 tsp salt - 1 item
- sticks margarine, softened - 2 item
- cups flour - 2 item
- tsp cloves - 1/2 item
- tsp allspice - 1/2 item
- 1/3 cups sugar - 2 item
- cups applesauce - 2 item
- 1/4 cups chopped pecans - 1 item
- eggs, beat one at a time - 3 item
- 1/2 cups light corn syrup - 1 item
- 1/3 cups cake flour - 3 item
- cups shotening - 2/3 item
How to make pecan bars:
Set asideAdd 1/2 of flour mixture to batter. Beat well. Add 1 small carton sour cream. Beat well. Add remainder of flour mixture and beat. Add 2 tsp vanilla and beat until well blended. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan at 350° for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar when cake is cool.
I also have used a vanilla lemon glaze on this cake - just drizzle over cake when hot.
