  • eggs - 4 item
  • large eggs - 2 item
  • stick butter, melted - 1 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • cup brown sugar - 1/2 item
  • cup water - 2/3 item
  • cup chopped nuts - 1 item
  • tsp vanilla - 1 item
  • cup raisins - 1 item
  • tsp cinnamon - 1 item
  • cups sugar - 2 item
  • tsp baking soda - 1/2 item
  • 1/2 tsp salt - 1 item
  • sticks margarine, softened - 2 item
  • cups flour - 2 item
  • tsp cloves - 1/2 item
  • tsp allspice - 1/2 item
  • 1/3 cups sugar - 2 item
  • cups applesauce - 2 item
  • 1/4 cups chopped pecans - 1 item
  • eggs, beat one at a time - 3 item
  • 1/2 cups light corn syrup - 1 item
  • 1/3 cups cake flour - 3 item
  • cups shotening - 2/3 item

How to make pecan bars:

Set aside

Add 1/2 of flour mixture to batter. Beat well. Add 1 small carton sour cream. Beat well. Add remainder of flour mixture and beat. Add 2 tsp vanilla and beat until well blended. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan at 350° for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar when cake is cool.

I also have used a vanilla lemon glaze on this cake - just drizzle over cake when hot.
