Pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 4 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 3 c
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- green peppers, cut in strips - 4 item
- round steak, cut in strips - 2 lb
- beef broth 4 beef bouillon cubes with 4 c - 4 c
How to make pepper steak:
Brown meat. Add onion, garlic, salt, sugar and bouillon. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Add celery and green pepper. Cook 7 minutes. Mix cornstarch, sauce and water. Add to beef. Bring to boil. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
