Pepper relish
Ingredients/Components
- green peppers - 12 item
- red peppers - 12 item
- onions - 4 item
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 qt
How to make pepper relish:
Wash and cut the peppers in quarters. Remove stem, seeds and white membranes. Peel and quarter onions. Put all through food chopper. Cover with boiling water. Let stand 15 minutes; drain. Add sugar, salt and vinegar. Boil 20 minutes and pack immediately into hot, sterilized jars.Recipe categories: Sauces, Salsas, Jams and preserves.
