Ingredients/Components
- olive oil enough to saute garlic in pan - 1 item
- garlic, minced or crushed 3 to 4 cloves
- vodka - 1/4 c
- heavy cream - 1/3 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- optional
How to make vodka sauce:
Saute fresh mushrooms and garlic. Add tomatoes, vodka, heavy cream, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer for about 40 to 50 minutes, covered. Serve over penne or large sized rigatoni pasta.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
