Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- stalks celery - 2 item
- tomato sauce - 2 c
- green pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- cooked or canned tomatoes - 2 c
- cooked spaghetti or macaroni - 1 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Crumble ground beef in heated frying pan. Cook and stir until lightly browned. Finely chop onion, green pepper and celery; add to ground beef and cook until tender. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cover and cook slowly, about 1 hour until thickened. Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti or macaroni.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
