Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • stalks celery - 2 item
  • tomato sauce - 2 c
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • large onion - 1 item
  • cooked or canned tomatoes - 2 c
  • cooked spaghetti or macaroni - 1 item

How to make spaghetti sauce:

Crumble ground beef in heated frying pan. Cook and stir until lightly browned. Finely chop onion, green pepper and celery; add to ground beef and cook until tender. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cover and cook slowly, about 1 hour until thickened. Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti or macaroni.
