White sauce
Ingredients/Components
- dry milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- oleo - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make white sauce:
Melt oleo; remove from heat. Stir in dry milk, flour and salt. Slowly add water, stirring constantly. Return to heat; cook on medium heat, stirring until thick. Yields 1/3 cup.For Cheese Sauce: Grate 8 ounces Cheddar, American or Colby cheese to sauce. Let melt and serve.
