Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c

How to make peanut blossoms:

Sift flour, soda and salt together. Cream together shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and sugar. Add egg to creamed mixture. Beat together and add milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to the wet. Mix well. Roll dough into small balls and roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 minutes at 350°. Remove cookie sheet from oven and add 1 Hershey's Kiss to the center of each cookie. Return to oven for 5 minutes. Cool.
