Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla ice cream - 1 pt
- cold water - 1/2 c
- whipping cream, whipped - 1/2 c
- baked pie shell - 1 item
- sliced peaches, sweetened or 1 No
How to make peach parfait pie:
If using fresh peaches, let stand about 15 minutes after mixing with sugar. Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup and heat to boiling. Add gelatin and stir to dissolve. Add cold water.Cut ice cream into 6 pieces and add to hot liquid. Stir until melted. Then chill until mixture mounds slightly. Fold in peaches. Chill, until firm, in pie shell. Serve with whipped cream.
