Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk - 3/8 c
- flour
- lemon juice - 3/8 c
- eggs, unbeaten - 6 item
- cornmeal
- stick melted butter - 3/8 item
- grated rind of 2 lemons
How to make lemon chess pie:
Toss lightly with fork the first 3 ingredients. Add other ingredients; beat until smooth and blended well. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes or until brown. Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.Note: Three-eighths is between 1/4 and 1/2 cup.
