Ingredients/Components
- sifted flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- softened margarine - 2/3 c
- sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
How to make overnight crunch coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. chopped walnuts1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg Sift together first 5 ingredients; set aside. Cream together margarine and sugars. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition. Spread into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.Combine topping and sprinkle over batter. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
