  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • oleo - 1 c
  • Sift dry ingredients
  • diced, peeled apples - 2 c

How to make nobby apple cake:

Cream oleo, sugars and eggs well. Sift dry ingredients. Mix buttermilk and dry ingredients. Add apples to batter last. Pour into 9 x 13-inch floured and greased pan.Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. nuts Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle nuts on batter, then the sugar mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
