  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • light corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • popped corn - 8 qt
  • oleo - 1 c

How to make oven caramel corn:

Combine sugar, oleo, syrup and salt and bring to boil. Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn. Mix well. Scatter on large shallow pans. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
