Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 6 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped celery
- chopped onions
- can tomato sauce - 8 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef
- sliced carrots - 2 c
- barley - 1/3 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- can 3 c - 28 oz
- beef flavor bouillon cubes - 3 item
How to make hamburger barley vegetable soup:
In 5-quart Dutch oven, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaves.Great recipe to take to a sick friend with homemade bread.
