- heavy cream - 1 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- paprika - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1/2 c
- Vidalia onions, sliced and separated - 1 lb
- In medium saucepan, combine onions with enough water to cover
How to make onion casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. In medium saucepan, combine onions with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil; boil one minute. Drain. Put in 8-inch square baking dish; combine the egg, cream, salt and pepper. Pour over onions; sprinkle with cheese, then paprika.
