sugar - 1 c
cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour
brown sugar - 1 c
nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
shortening - 1 c
nuts - 1 c
raisins - 1 c
quick oats - 3 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Cream the shortening and sugars. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350° oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies.
