  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • stick margarine, melted - 1 item
  • small can milk - 1 item
  • Cool Whip optional - 1 item
  • bar German chocolate - 1/2 item
  • ice cream, softened - 1/2 gal
  • Oreos, crushed - 24 item

How to make ice cream cake:

Mix Oreos and margarine; spread in bottom of dish and freeze. Soften ice cream; beat with mixer and pour over Oreo crust. Freeze. Combine chocolate, sugar, margarine and milk. Cook 4 or 5 minutes until sugar and chocolate are dissolved. Cool in refrigerator. Pour over ice cream and freeze.

Optional: Cover with Cool Whip and freeze. Can use strawberries instead of chocolate.
