Blond brownies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 3 item
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour
• brown sugar
• baking powder
• chocolate chips - 1 pkg
• shortening or butter - 2/3 c

How to make blond brownies:

Melt shortening in a saucepan. Add brown sugar. Stir until mixed. Cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each. Add dry ingredients, nuts and chips. Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
