Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • self-rising flour - 1/2 c
  • plain flour
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • butternut flavoring - 1 Tbsp
  • box xxxx sugar - 1 item
  • Frosting:1 stick margarine

How to make butternut cake:

Frosting:1 stick margarine1 box xxxx sugar8 oz. cream cheese1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring1 c. nuts Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs on high for 10 minutes. Add 1 cup flour and beat slow for 1 minute. Add remaining flour and milk alternately. Add flavoring. Bake in 3 or 4 layers at 350°.

Frosting: Mix first 4 ingredients together. Sprinkle nuts.
