Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1/3 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- sliced carrots - 8 c
- green peppers - 12 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Cook carrots until tender. Drain and cool. Cut onions in their round slices; cut pepper in small slices. Mix with carrots. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the vegetables. Cover. Marinate in refrigerator for 12 hours. Drain and serve. Yields 15 to 20 servings.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
