Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- pepper - 3/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- diced onion - 1 item
- diced green pepper - 1 item
- carrots - 2 pkg
- can tomato soup - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Peel and slice carrots. Boil carrots until tender. Drain and cool. Mix and bring to a boil the sugar, oil, vinegar, dry mustard, salt, pepper and Worcestershire. Add soup and blend until smooth. Add green pepper and onion to carrots. Pour sauce over and marinate 24 hours.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
