Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • sliced carrots about 2 lb - 5 c

How to make marinated carrots:

Cook carrots (just barely tender). Drain and cool; add onion and pepper. Mix all other ingredients. Pour all over carrots. Let set 12 hours in refrigerator. Drain all liquid. Store in refrigerator. Will keep 2 or 3 months. Reserve liquid. May be used for another batch of carrots.
