Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 3/4 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- dry cottage cheese - 2 c
- manicotti shells - 1 pkg
- medium jar prepared spaghetti sauce - 1 item
How to make manicotti:
Cook manicotti shells using package directions. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Pour off drippings. Stir in seasonings, mixing well. Combine ground beef with eggs, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese and 1/3 of the Mozzarella cheese, mixing well. Stuff manicotti cheese with mixture. Arrange in baking dish. Top with any remaining ground beef mixture, spaghetti sauce and remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Pasta, Beef, Manicotti.
