Baked lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- hot water - 2 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped onions - 3/4 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- parsley - 1 tsp
- tomato paste - 12 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 lb
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- lasagna noodles, cooked - 9 item
- clove crushed garlic - 1 item
- cottage cheese optional - 1 lb
How to make baked lasagna:
Brown beef; drain fat. Add onion, garlic, parsley, water, tomato paste, pepper and salt; bring to a boil. Turn heat to low; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, layer meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese and noodles. Start with noodles. Make 3 layers. Top with Mozzarella cheese; sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, until top of cheese is melted. Can make ahead and freeze. Serve with rolls and salad.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Lasagna.
