Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 item
- margarine or butter - 3 Tbsp
- Crisco - 1/4 c
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- liver, sliced 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick - 1 lb
How to make liver and onions:
Cook and stir onions in butter or margarine in 10-inch skillet until tender. Remover from skillet; keep warm. Heat Crisco in same skillet until melted. Coat liver slices with flour, fry liver over medium heat until brown, 2 or 3 minutes on each side. Do not overcook. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
