- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- lemons, juiced - 2 item
- whole milk - 1 c
- pie shell unbaked - 1 item
How to make lemon pie cake:
Combine sugar, flour, margarine and egg yolks, beating until smooth. Beat in lemon juice. Add milk slowly while stirring so it doesn't curdle. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into lemon mixture. Bake pie shell briefly (5 minutes), then pour in filling. Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350° until filling is firm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
