Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
How to make one egg cake:
Cream the shortening and sugar until light. Add the egg, beating vigorously. Add the vanilla extract. Add the flour alternately with the milk. Mix until batter is smooth. Pour into greased cake pans.
