Ingredients/Components
- sour cream optional - 1/2 c
- cabbage, cut up - 1 c
- carrots, cut up - 4 item
- large onion, cut up - 1 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and cut up - 4 item
- large leeks, well cleaned and cut into 1-inch portions use white part - 4 item
How to make leek soup:
Cook all vegetables in water or broth to cover. Season with salt and pepper. When vegetables are tender, put them through the blender with the liquid. Blend until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sour cream (optional) and serve hot.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Onions, Stocks.
