Lasagna soup



  • pkg - 1 lb
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • Italian seasoning - 2 tsp
  • garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can crushed tomatoes - 1 oz
  • celery stalks, chopped - 2 item
  • sliced fresh or canned mushrooms - 1 c

How to make lasagna soup:

In a skillet, brown beef, onion, green pepper, celery and mushrooms until the beef is no longer pink. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, tomatoes and tomato sauce (mixture should be thick); simmer.

Meanwhile, break each noodle into 4 pieces; cook in a Dutch oven according to package directions. When noodles are tender, drain off about half the water. Stir in meat sauce; heat through.
