Baked potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 7 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 2/3 c
- margarine - 2/3 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- green onions - 4 item
- pieces bacon, fried and crumbled - 12 item
- baked potatoes unpeeled, cubed - 4 c
How to make baked potato soup:
Melt margarine; stir in flour. Slowly add milk to make a white sauce. (I use microwave as does not scorch.) Fry bacon and remove. Saute onions in bacon drippings. Add potatoes, bacon, onions, cheese, salt and pepper to heated milk mixture. Return to microwave; heat thoroughly. Remove; add sour cream.
