Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 1/2 c
  • water - 5 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • onions, chopped - 2 item
  • celery, chopped - 1 c
  • chives - 1/8 Tbsp
  • carrot, chopped - 1 item
  • chicken bouillon - 1/4 c
  • peeled and diced potatoes - 6 item
  • can evaporated milk or 1/2 c - 1 oz
  • Add milk and chives and bring to a boil

How to make knoephla soup:

Put all ingredients except milk and chives in a kettle and cook until tender. Add milk and chives and bring to a boil. Add Knoepla, then reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes.Knoephla:1 c. flour1 egg1/2 c. water Mix together. Cut into small pieces and drop into broth.
