Italian spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- onion slices - 1/2 c
- monosodium glutamate - 1/2 tsp
- cans 2 c - 2 oz
- cans 4 c - 2 lb
- oregano or sage
- can boiled sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
How to make italian spaghetti sauce:
Cook onion in hot oil until golden. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients; simmer, uncovered, 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until thick. Remove bay leaf. Serve on hot cooked spaghetti.
